Last night I viewed an hour-long program, titled "Star Fleet," on The Learning Channel. (Needless to say, I was lured in by the title.) It was a documentary on the quest of various individuals to develop a viable one-stage, reusable rocket that would reach outer space. This culminated in the X-33. I don't know whether this was a new program, a repeat, or whether it will be aired again in the future, but if you have an interest in the topic, you might want to be on the lookout.
