• One of the most common misconceptions is that FrontPage 98 "messes" with HTML. Actually it has a correction feature that helps those with little or no experience with HTML.

  • Luckily FrontPage 98 comes with an insert HTML feature. Using this, FrontPage's correction of HTML feature, will not touch the HTML that has been inserted.

1) Click the spot on your page that you want to insert the HTML code.


2) Then click on this icon: Tutorial image 1


3) This window will open. Insert (paste if that's what you are doing) your HTML code in here:

4) Click OK and your done.


5) What you have entered will show up in the Preview mode of FrontPage 98.


    A slight hint here: Always put inserted HTML in a table cell. Since it wont show up in Normal view, but the outline of the table cell will. This way you know where your code is.
