1) Open the web you want to publish to AOL5.0 in FrontPage 2000.
2) Click on "File"
3) Then click on "Publish Web..."
4) Enter ftp://members.aol.com/your_screen_name as shown below, then click the
"Publish" button.

5) You will see this window. FrontPage is connecting to the
server, and not yet publishing. Depending on Internet traffic, you may see this
window for a while, just be patient.

6) When this window shows up, enter "ftp" (without the quotes) in
the Name: field. In the password field enter your whole AOL E-mail address for
the account your are publishing to. (E.G. your_screen_name@aol.com including the .com)

Then click the "OK" button.
7) Sit back and let FrontPage 2000 do it's work :-)
1) When you see the "done" window, if you click to view the page
link, it will take you to the ftp server on AOL (has some useful information
there, for those that want to learn more), not your site.

2) Every time you publish you'll have to say no to each page that you didn't
change. For small sites, clicking "yes to all" is no big problem, but
for sites pushing AOL's MB limit, click "yes to all" could be very
time consuming.
*This is for those that have a site on another server and
are only using their AOL space as a gateway to their main site.
3) If you use the META tags for auto redirect and include a _top tag to rid
the AOL Hometown frame set, it wont work. The Solution is to not use the META
tags. Rather use a hyperlink with the _top attribute.
